Choosing an E-Reader

Which E-Reader should I get?

The answer to this question will vary depending on who you ask - there are positive and negative features of each e-reader on the market.  The best idea when choosing an e-reader is to do your research and actually try out each version you are considering.  Electronics stores like Best Buy carry a wide variety of e-readers that you can examine and try out before you purchase.

The information and comparisons on e-readers constantly changes as prices are reduced and new products are put on the market.  As of 10/6/2011, this article provides a great summary of the features and upcoming developments in the three most popular brands (Kindle/Amazon; Nook/Barnes and Noble; and Ipad/Apple):

PC World has also produced a great, although more dated, article with a handy comparison chart.

And Barnes and Noble also has several feature comparisons both of Kindle and Nook

If you want to hear consumer reviews of a specific brand, look at the Nestie E-Reader Suggestions for information on who owns which e-reader.
